Interaction of the recently appointed Executive Secretary of the FCDA with Staff of the Authority by goubadia

We are in this together- The recently appointed Executive Secretary of the FCDA, Engr. Umar Gambo Jibrin has been interacting with staff of the Authority. Addressing the directorate cadre today Engr. Jibrin while thanking both President Mohammad Buhari and the FCT Minister, Mallam Musa Bellofor his appointment which he described as a vote of confidence in the FCDA and its workforce promised to run a consultative and collective administration.

He therefore called on every member of staff to ensure that they play a role which adds up in the collective success of the FCDA. He said that everyone must ensure prompt execution of jobs within the ambit of the law and due process while on his part, he promised to provide relevant working tools as well as a conducive and comfortable environment.

The new Executive Secretary also promised that staff welfare in terms of training, promotion, salaries and allowances and other staff matters will receive first line attention. He further told the gathering that " the FCDA is not known for failure and as a person, I will not be associate with failure".
Earlier, the Director of Finance and Administration in the FCDA, UBA Ado Yakassai had eulogized the appointment of Engr. Jibrin as honour done to the entire staff of the Authority as " he is one of us". He therefore pledged the total support of the staff to the new Chief Executive saying that " your success is our success and your failure also our failure"

Engr. U G. Jibrin , a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Member, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Fellow, Nigerian Association of Public Administrators and Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration is a proud recipient of the National Honours Award of Officer of the Order of the Niger ( OON).
Until his appointment, Engr. Jibrin was the Acting Executive Secretary of FCDA after the retirement of the former Executive Secretary, Engr. Adamu Ismaila. Engr. U.G. Jibrin was the most Senior Director in the FCDA in charge of Mass Housing \ Public Private Partnership.
